Data Analysis has become an essential part of everyday life and emerged as a critical component of modern business intelligence in recent years. Data Scientists have a number of options to analyse data using statistical methods. One of the most convenient and powerful methods is to use the R Programming language. Analysing meaningful data is also critical for policymaking. Data science and Statistical modelling techniques help in decision making and a formulation of business strategies. Keeping this in mind IIMP has organised a two weeks FDP on “Data Science with R”. This FDP has helped participants learn how to tackle data analysis problems using the powerful open-source language R. Participants have also learned about how to compute various statistical measures and create meaningful data visualizations.
FDP on “Statistical Analysis: Tools and Techniques”:
Statistical analysis is an integral part of any research process. Since most of the faculty members do not have graduate degree in statistics, it is necessary for them to have at least basic knowledge of statistics. With IT becoming an integral part of the industry, huge data is generated by the organizations leading to wide opportunities for research with industry. Analyzing huge volumes of industrial data to uncover the underlying patterns for making important strategic decisions in the industry is vital. For such analysis, knowledge of statistical analysis tools is essential. The knowledge of these tools is vital for faculty members aspiring to work in close association with Industry. Keeping this in mind IIMP has organized a two week long FDP program sponsored by AICT on the topic of “Statistical Analysis: Tools and Techniques”. In this FDP Faculty members acquired analytical skills through practical exposure. They can now impart this knowledge to students to make them industry ready. Also the knowledge gained for this FD will help the faculty members conducting research along with Industry in their specialization domain.

Case methodology has become an integral part of the teaching methodology in top league B-Schools across the globe and in India.
The paucity of cases on Indian and local organizations have given an opportunity for the B-Schools to develop Case writing skills across the management faculty. Keeping this objective in mind, IIMP has conducted a FDP in association with Savitribai Phule Pune University on “Case writing”. This FDP was aimed to facilitate the participant faculties to develop their case writing skills.

Entrepreneurship awareness camp was conducted by Indirapreneur Cell (E-Cell) of IIMP
on 23-25 Jan 2020 in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII).
Apart from the classroom session’s startup visit was also organized at BHAU Institute and Incubation Centre in Pune. More than 70 students participated in this program. On this occasion Eminent speakers gave mentoring & guidance to the aspiring entrepreneurs.

Really Happy with overall experience. With average package of 5.5L it is one of the top ranked college in Pune. Really supportive teaching and non teaching staff. As we are in pandemic college effectively able to transit from offline to online mode with minimal problems. Addition to my review (28/11/2021) As placement process started till now in 3 months 250-300 companies visited campus thats because of effective placement cell of the institute. I got placed in Deloitte as US tax consultant. Placement process was so smooth and teaching as well as non-teaching staff were so helpful when there was any problems or queries.
Amezing experience of learning not only a syllabus but also many more things. It's a best place to explore new ways of learning & personality development in many ways. This institute has Really helpful teaching staff, infrastructure and all the facilities available. Also a good placement for great future.
