DEEP GRUH SOCIETY

Deep Griha Society is an independent charitable organisation working to better the lives of people living in the slums of Pune, India. Through a range of family welfare programmes encompassing education, health, awareness building and self-help projects, DGS helps thousands of beneficiaries within Pune and several nearby villages.

Deep Gruh Society is the NGO who help the people in their personal as well as societal affairs. They have 6 units in and around pune,2 in Pune and 4 outskirt of Pune. The Deep Gruha Society was organised programme for the senior citizen residing near the NGO. The motive behind the program was to celebrate the day and to spread awareness and importance of senior citizens among the people. They invited all the senior citizen of that area. The expectation was up to 50-55 members but it was more than the expectation. They contacted Indira Institute of Management for volunteers to run the program smoothly. The A2 group got the opportunity to serve the Senior citizens and to contribute their efforts for the well-being of the society.
