PGDM in Financial Management Course Objectives:

Banks offer profiles like Sales and Relationship Manager where the key responsibilities are : Maintaining Daily Sales Report , Identifying  potential areas and base of customers for business , Liasoning & drive core business through Branch, Private Banking, DSA , offering  various Products and Services to the customer within the defined time line , Using Data-mine for cross-selling, Disseminating product information, Engaging with customers and cross-sell engagement products and activation products at every new sourcing level .

Profile of Credit Manager is also offered by various banks where in the role is to ensure all loan proposals are processed within defined TAT and credit delivery to the customer with very low defects/reworks, Adherence to the policy/process laid out by the Central team on all application being processed, Audit compliance, Close Interaction with other functions such as Sales/Operations/Collections, managing all risk vendors & Credit Deferral Management.

Students also get into Portfolio Management wherein key areas are Managing the benchmark no. of customers, extend benefits to customers, Enhance Values within each of the customer groups & Online updating at every stage of customer contact on the portfolio.

IT Trainee one of the most coveted profile for Finance Students where they will be engaged in Eliciting, analysing, communicating, and validating business/user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems, Translate business needs/end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfil the end-user/business requirements, Perform a variety of functional responsibilities with tasks and activities that are appropriate for the business operations, projects, exchange changes etc.  & Research and analyse appropriate information technology practices, processes and procedures

Eligibility for PGDM in Finance Admission


A candidate is declared eligible for PGDM Courses, if he/she has passed the degree examination from AICTE/ UGC recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks for open category and minimum 45% marks for reserved category. 50% of seats are reserved for Maharashtra domicile reserved category candidates. Such candidate's application must be accompanied with relevant caste certificates, cast validity and non-creamy layer certificates at the time of application.

Absence of such certificates at the time of submitting the Admission application forms for admission to the course disqualifies them from reserved category seats, and such candidates will be considered for open/general category.

If sufficient number of applications for reserved seats are not received then the balance seats will be converted into open / general category seats. 20% of the sanctioned seats are institute level seats.

Final year degree students, who have not received their result will be allowed to appear for the admission process, provided at the time of taking admission they have a certificate from their college/university about being a final year student awaiting result.

Candidate should have appeared one of the entrance exam CAT /MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/ GMAT/ State level Entrance Test (MH-CET) and should have a valid score card.
