WORRIED ABOUT PGDM ELIGIBLITY
It is important to understand that the criteria as well as PGDM eligibilities, are different in every institution. However, there are few general eligibility criteria that you must fulfil if you want to get admission to the PGDM course. Before taking admission in any b-school you should know your PGDM Eligibility Key Points hence you could plan your future.
PGDM Eligibility Criteria
A large number of people are enrolling in business schools in order to improve their prospects in the sector. They do a lot of study to find the greatest business school and become eligible for it. When it comes to the PGDM programme, aspirants must follow a few sets of regulations and procedural norms, even if each institution has its own set of PGDM eligibility criteria for admissions. Following are the PGDM Eligibility Key Points.
- Qualification
The first key PGDM eligibility point is your highest qualification. The educational background is a necessary component of the PGDM qualifying criterion. Before enrolling in the management programme, applicants must have a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in any discipline. They must have received a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks from a Recognized university. During the final call, business schools compare the qualifications listed on the application form to the original documents presented. As a result, before enrolling in the programme, applicants must ensure that they have the required academic record.
- Entrance Examinations
Candidates must have taken and passed the AICTE-mandated entrance tests before enrolling in PGDM programmes. For admission, they must have passed the CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or GMAT with a valid score card. Every year, a large number of students take these tests in the hopes of getting into a prestigious B-school like ‘Indira’
- Process of GD / PI
Group Discussion and Personal Interview, also known as GD/PI, are an important part of the PGDM eligibility criteria and admission procedure. In essence, it is a personality evaluation test that assesses the candidate’s leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. They must be well prepared for the GD/PI procedure, as it aids business schools in determining the candidate’s key managerial skills.
- Cut-offs for Entrance Exams
Because the CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, and GMAT are all universal exams, each business school creates its own cut-off list to ensure a fair admission decision. The cut-off list is determined by the merit obtained in the MAT/CAT/XAT scores. Candidates that achieve a minimal cut-off percentile are invited to participate in the final GD/PI procedure.
- Verification of documents
B- Schools undergo a thorough document verification process before approving a final candidate. This is the most important level of the PGDM eligibility criterion. At the time of selection, students must present their original documents, which include their Class X, Class XII, Graduation (all years/ semesters), Certificate of Age Proof, Degree/ Provisional Degree, and valid
FOR MAHARASHTRA DOMICILE CANDIDATES

Such candidate’s application must be accompanied with relevant caste certificates, cast validity and non- creamy layer certificates at the time of application.
